Guests travel from Mwanza to the Serengeti, explore the Ngorongoro Crater’s spectacular landscapes, and enjoy Lake Manyara’s rich biodiversity. Combined with cultural activities and optional Mwitongo Lodge experiences, this itinerary is ideal for first-time visitors or safari enthusiasts seeking a complete Northern Tanzania adventure.
Day 1 - Arrival in Mwanza & Transfer to Mwitongo Lodges
- Arrival at Mwanza Airport; meet & greet by Mwitongo Safaris guide.
- Scenic drive to Mwitongo Butiama Lodge or Peninsula Lodge.
- Afternoon: light hike or archery session.
- Dinner and overnight at Mwitongo Lodge.
Day 2 - Transfer to Serengeti (Western Corridor) & Afternoon Game Drive
- Early breakfast at lodge.
- Road transfer to Ndabaka Gate in Serengeti.
- Begin afternoon game drive en route to lodge/camp.
- Wildlife spotting: wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, elephants, lions, hyenas.
- Sunset game photography.
- Overnight at Serengeti lodge / tented camp.
Day 3 - Full-Day Serengeti Game Drive
- Sunrise game drive focusing on predators and Big Five.
- Breakfast in the bush or at lodge.

Day 4 - Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater

- Return drive toward Mwitongo Butiama Lodge.
- Afternoon optional activities at lodge:
- Zanaki cultural experience
- Archery or mountain biking
- Short hike (Balili, Mtuzu, or Baridi)
- Dinner and overnight at Mwitongo Lodge.
Day 7 - Departure from Mwanza Airport
- Breakfast at lodge.
- Optional morning walk or lakeside stroll.
- Transfer to Mwanza Airport for departure.
- Airport transfers (Mwanza)
- 2 nights at Mwitongo Lodges
- 3 nights in Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara lodges / tented camps
